Happy Fathers Day

So yesterday, June 20th 2010, was Fathers Day!
This year for Fathers Day I wanted to try something new. A few weeks ago I went to a graduation party for a girl in my home ward.
Her mom made her this amazing quilt as a present and I basically fell in
LOVE with it,
so I asked her if she would be willing to help me out.
So she went to
Walmart
with me and helped me pick out some super cute fabric!
After a lot of work I am almost finished!!!
(Sorry Dad that it was not done for fathers day), but i will have it done sooN!
Anyways..... here is a picture of the "pattern" i choose.
It was so much fun, and my dad deserves it!
Dad, I love you so much, and Happy Father's Day!

Memorial Day

I had a four-day weekend this week due to Memorial Day which was yesterday. My family decided we wanted to hike to the top of Ensign Peak. It was a hard hike but so much fun! The view at the top was so pretty!!! After the hike we went to Zion's park for a little picnick. While we were making our lunch a homeless guy came up to us and asked for some food, so of course we gave him some. I felt so bad that we couldn't do more. Then after we were mostly finished eating, my mom's crown fell off her tooth and she was in a lot of pain, so then we just decided to leave. It was so much fun and I am glad I got to spend so much time with my family. Here are some pictures of our hike:

I love this picture of Abby and Jonny. They are usually the ones who fight, so I like that you can actually tell they are getting along.

So cute..... this is Abby, Ashley, and Emily!!!

So this weekend my family and I also worked on our garden. I am so proud, because I was actually able to help with our garden this year. I even went to the store and helped pick out which plants we wanted. On the far right row we have jalapeno's, and a lot of bell peppers. The next two rows we did plant some yummy stuff, I am just not sure what :) I forgot!!! The fourth row from the right we have our "herb" row. In our herb row we have chives ( which is the plant with purple flowers on it), two basil plants, rosemary, and lettuce. The two rows to the left of that is a bunch of peas. The far left row is our tomatto row, so we just have a bunch of tomatto's. In the garden we also have two watermelons, cantalope, pumpkin, zucchini, and squash! It is so exciting, and I am so happy I could help! Here is a bunch of pictures of our work:
This is our garden :)

My dad is such a genious.... He set up this AWESOME sprinkler system for our garden so it waters our plants. It is so cool and has knobs we can control and everything, and the water just flows down each "isle" and waters everything. SO COOL!
